Hi!

Hello! My name is Stephanie! This is my coupon diary. I created it to share the deals I get and help others learn how to coupon and save hundreds of dollars each month!

I can’t find coupons for products I use.

“I can’t find coupons for the products I use.”

What kinds of products are you using? You use toothpaste right? Toilet paper? Juice? Cat or dog food? What about fruits and vegetables? There are coupons for everything!

In order to have really successful couponing trips, you can’t be brand loyal. I once read another couponer say “If the company wants me to use their product, they will give me a coupon for it” And that is the attitude you need to have for the most part. Yes,there may be a few things you don’t want to give up that you love. But,if you use coupons on everything else, the money you save can go towards paying for those items no problem. Or you may be able to get those products for free when you have overage from another coupon. (Overage is where you have a coupon that is worth more than the product. Like $5 off a product that is $3. Some stores let you apply that overage towards other items in your cart.) This is essentially making your own coupon for the item.

So besides brand loyalty issues.. what kinds of things do you use? Obvious products are toothpaste, toothbrushes, deodorant, shampoo, soap, etc. ALL of those items you can get for free. Other ones like toilet paper, paper towels etc can be found for very cheap! It IS possible. Remember,it’s all about matching a coupon with a sale.

I highly suggest looking in these 2 places for coupons for products you use:

The Krazy Coupon Lady’s coupon database:http://thekrazycouponlady.com/print-coupons/

We Use Coupons database:http://www.weusecoupons.com/index.php?pageid=coupondatabase

If for some reason you still can’t find a coupon for a product you use that you are brand loyal to.. look on their websites or even email the companies asking for coupons! I’ve never had to do this but I know several people who have and have gotten coupons directly from the companies just by asking for them. Easy!
